Beverly Hills April Calendar Payouts

Dear Players, Cheerleaders and Parents: We hope everyone had a great holiday season and we would like to update you with regard to our Beverly Hills trip and fundraising activities. Suburban Travel is soon expecting another payment of $400/pp. This payment is due to us on February 15th. You can make checks payable to Beverly Hills 2008, students name and any family who are also attending should be noted in the memo section, and then mail to: Upcoming events: We will be hosting a fundraiser on at the Mad Fish Bar & Grille. Players and Cheerleaders are requested to sell at least 4 tickets to this event. The tickets are $20/pp. We will have raffle prizes, a silent auction and live entertainment, as well as appetizers and a cash bar. Tickets were distributed at the football banquet or via your Class Coordinator. Every player should already have their tickets in hand. Please return your ticket money or unsold tickets on this Saturday January 19 between 9AM – 12PM at the gym entrance at Furnace Brooks Middle School. Any qu estions should be directed 1st to your Class Coordinators and then either Kerrie Russell or Angela Griffith. Please note that 50% of your ticket sales will go to the general fund and 50% will go into each individual account. The tickets we receive back on the 19th will be distributed to the players/cheerleaders interested in selling more tickets on a first come first serve basis. Also, know that it is not our intent to have the parents purchase the tickets unless they plan on bringing others to the event. The ultimate goal is to have good attendance at the event. Any and all proceeds from the event will go to the general fund and be distributed to each player/cheerleader, so the more we make, the more we have in each account. So please sell the tickets to people who plan on attending the event! WE COULD REALLY USE DONATION ITEMS OF ANY KIND!!! IF YOU HAVE ANY RAFFLE OR SILENT AUCTION ITEMS YOU WOULD LIKE TO DONATE, PLEASE CONTACT US AT gohills2008@aol.com. Nothing is too big or too small! Upcoming events: Canning – February 2nd Leader: Rosemary Vaughn Calendars – March Leader: Carol Upson Everyone’s support is required to maximize any money raised so that we can offset as much cost as possible from each players and cheerleaders trip cost. So any help with regard to fundraising (ideas, help, etc) is greatly appreciated. We ask that any individual fundraising efforts be approved by the Board and please consider your efforts and its impact to currently scheduled events that will benefit the whole team and not just certain individuals. Your understanding is appreciated. Because of the large amount of students attending this trip, we are relying on communication by e-mail and/or the Marshfield Gridiron website www.marshfieldgridiron.com , so please check both frequently for updates. January 12, 2008 Dear Canning Volunteers, Thanks to all who participated in the December 8th canning Day. You raised over $3,000 for the trip. Approximately twenty-one dollars an hour!!! Good job Rams!!! The next scheduled canning date is February 2, 2008. Please sign up with your designated grade\cheerleading coordinators by January 21st. If you are canning with a friend, please contact them before you call to sign up, in order to facilitate scheduling. Current Sophomore and Junior Cheerleaders Maura Sullivan: (781) 837-5352 If you are not able to can on this day, there are other opportunities available. You may have a parent or sibling can for you. Also, a few Marshfield businesses have given us permission to can at anytime. Please contact your coordinator to schedule an alternate canning time. If available, you may also be able to sign up for more than one canning shift. This will be determined after all students have been contacted. In addition, you may can for your own account as long as you make it known (with a poster and verbally) that the money being donated is going into your account and it is not for the entire Beverly Hills group. If you are going to can on your own, please contact your canning coordinator to avoid double booking and interference with our scheduled canning dates.
